Rumble in the Jungle 2026 — done and dusted! What a day on the trails. A huge congratulations to all the athletes I coach who took on distances from 8 km right through to 100 km. It was lovely to see everyone out there giving it their all, supporting each other and enjoying the adventure. 🌿

Elize Strydom — congratulations on completing the 50 km challenge!

100 km

Andrew Ferguson and Brendon Dean — equal third male! What a result for you both over 100 km. A huge congratulations as well to Kimberley Biddle for taking on the 100 km distance. ❤️

A little love from the aid stations

I spent the day helping at the Pine Rd and Battery Falls aid stations, getting runners topped up with water and food before they headed back into the trails. It’s such a rewarding part of race day — those quick moments of encouragement can mean a lot when someone still has a long way to go.

I also ended up spreading a little extra love with handwritten messages on the bunting. I may have forgotten to bring the official tape and had to improvise, haha — so we ended up with some spontaneous arts and crafts! 🐢

Slow and steady finishes the race. Embrace your turtle power 🐢

Be someone else’s superhero today 🦸‍♂️

Smile, have fun 😁

Enjoy the beautiful trails 🌿

Have an amazing adventure ⚡

What a lovely day to be alive 🙏

You are all amazing humans ❤️

You can do hard things 🥹

More than the finish line

Race days are about so much more than times and placings. They’re about the people who turn up, the encouragement shared along the way, and the moments that remind us why we love being out on the trails. I’m proud of every one of my athletes, and grateful to the volunteers and supporters who made the day possible.
